How to Lower a Standing Desk: Tips for Electric & Manual Desk
Time:2023-04-12 10:05
Lowering a standing desk can vary depending on whether it is an electric or manual desk. Here are some tips for lowering both types of desks:

For an Electric Standing Desk:

Locate the control panel on your electric standing desk. This will typically be located on the side or underside of the desk.

Look for a button or switch that controls the desk's height. Depending on the desk model, this may be a simple up/down button or a more complex control panel with multiple settings.

Press or activate the button or switch to lower the desk. The desk should begin lowering automatically.

Keep your hand on the button or switch until the desk reaches your desired height. Release the button or switch once the desk has reached the correct height.

Double-check that the desk is securely locked in place at its new height before using it.

For a Manual Standing Desk:

Locate the hand crank on your manual standing desk. This will typically be located on the side of the desk.

Insert the hand crank into the mechanism that controls the desk's height. The mechanism may be located on the side or underside of the desk.

Turn the hand crank counterclockwise to lower the desk. Depending on the desk model, you may need to turn the crank several times to lower the desk to your desired height.

Once the desk has reached your desired height, remove the hand crank from the mechanism.

Double-check that the desk is securely locked in place at its new height before using it.

In general, be sure to follow the manufacturer's instructions when lowering your standing desk. This can help ensure that you are using the desk correctly and safely.
